Combined Heat and Power Plants
Combined heat-and-power plants (CHPs) are combined systems that generate heat and electrical energy by cogeneration using fuels such as organic residue, vegetable oil, etc. They are very popular in plants of various sizes at the moment, not only as a result of their government funding.
Even after passing through various heat recovery processes, the exhaust gas emitted from CHPs still has a temperature of up
to 200° C. The energy in this exhaust gas can be converted into electrical energy in thermoelectric generators, thus making a significant contribution to improving the overall energy and cost efficiency of CHPs.
O-Flexx is now developing a solution for this market segment.
